Community-Based Organization (CBO): Established to empower communities to advocate for inclusion of children with disabilities and empower women through economic development growth.
Objectives
- Raise awareness about challenges faced by children with disabilities and women in Uganda.
- Advocate for inclusive design and infrastructure in schools and communities in Uganda
- Fundraise for accessible facilities, educational resources, and economic empowerment programs for women
- Encourage community engagement and ownership in Uganda
- Encourage Community Engagement: Foster community ownership and involvementOrganizational needs
- Construction of ramps to the class rooms in at least 10 schools
- Construction of toilets specially for the children leaving with disability
- Purchasing at least 100-wheel chairs for the children leaving with disability
